We had the privilege of photographing a wedding for friends of ours.  Monnie and Wilson are incredible people to be around.  It is impossible not to relish in their free-spirits while you are in their presence.  We truly enjoyed photographing and "attending" their wedding as honored guests.  Thank you for the opportunity to play this special part in your sacred day.

Little Man

Pete and I enjoyed our time with the Bookout family.

Fall and the Botanical Gardens provided a wonderful scene to photograph Jackson and his parents.  Jackson is such an observant and relaxed little boy.  We look forward to watching this little man grow!

I had the pleasure of photographing her, her older brothers and her parents.

It was very rewarding to hear one of the boys exclaim, "I like taking pictures!"

That lets us know we are doing some right!

We like to refer to our children sessions as "guided play times".

And play we do!

Always a Bride

As photographers, we can only dream of shoots like this one.  Katie and Joel celebrated their one year marriage anniversary and wanted portraits in their fabulous wedding attire!  Katie, the ever beautiful bride is a great model.  She was glowing throughout the entire session.  Her excitement was contagious.  Thanks to both of you for allowing us to celebrate your marriage with you- a year later!  You are both stunning, and it is a joy watching your love grow.

Family

These hands belong to two little girls who are cousins.

I especially like the chipped nail polish that nods to little girlhood!

It is amazing to watch them grow and interact more as they mature.

I think these images speak for themselves, but in case you are wondering: adoring grandparents, amazing child, giggles and love.

In fact, these three people mean a lot to me.  They are my parents and my niece.  Addison has graced us with her beautiful face for a year and a half now.  I absolutely loved hanging out with them.  Many of our shots came from playing "Addison Ping Pong"!  I acted like I was going to "get her", and she would run back to my parents (her grandparents).  Then they would do the same.  This was truly a "guided play time"!

Pete and I had the pleasure of celebrating Ansley's 1st birthday last month.  Just a couple days later, I was honored to photograph her and her amazing parents.  We are blessed to enjoy life with you guys, and are in awe of watching Ansley grow.

Our pastors asked me to prepare images that show the concepts of the "Beattitudes" in nature.  Let me just say, the way God speaks to us through nature is so powerful.  He reveals the complexities of His thoughts, His desires for us over and over and over again in the intricacies of natural objects and processes.  It is amazing how many times nature echoes the Truth and love the Creator to us- even on the short distance from our front doors to our cars.  Most of the images I shot were of scenes just on my street like this wildflower:

A Single Flower: Pure in Heart.  A singleness of heart, undivided. 

Each simple petal leads to and grows from a single, unifying center.

Long Twins

Already 6 months old!

Pete and I had the privilege of hanging out with and photographing Eden and Drew Long with their adoring parents John and Shay.  They are such a wonderful family to be around.  John and Shay juggle the wonder and challenge of twins with seemingly endless joy and ease.  They truly are amazing to watch... thanks so much for this opportunity.

Sisters, Fun & the Perfect Climbing Tree

Thanks girls for the fun morning together!  These girls are sisters, and it is obvious they adore one another!  Their session took place at High Meadows School in Roswell, GA.  This location provided many valuable photo-ops including open fields, a tire swing and the perfect climbing tree.  It was wonderful meeting you and your family!

Miss Addie Grace

An entire year has passed since the birth of my niece Addison Grace. She is such a joy to watch- as she is becoming more confident walking and inspecting everything around her. We love you Addie, and look forward to the many photo sessions to come!

Handsome Hayne

Hayne is 6 months old and is adored by his parents, Brian and Julia. It is rare to see Hayne not smiling, and when he does, his clear blue eyes disappear under his cheeks! Your family is amazing... thank you for letting me photograph baby Hayne!

jack & esme

Jack and Esme are the sweet children of our dear friends Josh and Clare. It has been and continues to be amazing to watch them grow into little individuals. Jack can be found exploring the woods, climbing "up high" or "cut[tin] trees" like his daddy. Esme can be found snoozing in her mother's sling or indulging in homemade milk. We enjoyed our visit with all of you and are already looking forward to the next one!

Here are Avery and her adoring parents. Avery is 10 weeks old and loving life! Her eyes tell all, as it was such a pleasure watching them explore and express. Thank you so much for allowing me to spend time with your family. Your love for one another is obvious.
